Say Hello

Rumor has it Facebook, Twitter, and most other social media outlets that I am, or will most likely become, addicted to are blocked by the Great Firewall of China. So, this blog was started as a way to stay in touch while I go into a forced rehab. Feel free to email for more personal messages to my (oh so originally named) email account: vandiemen.renee@gmail.com.

If I am clever and/or persistent enough to find a way to access Facebook, those of you who know me, will know! Obviously. For (somewhat frequent) picture updates, you can find me on Instagram: @Rshanghai. You’re also more than welcome to follow me on Twitter: @ReneevanDiemen. I must warn you though: I barely use it so there really isn’t much point.

Sooo, I’m kind of massively in love with this blog of yours and approve of your membership of the blogosphere. (Also love the frequent updates, please continue to do so, so that I can keep tabs on you, otherwise you might get angry messages from me on here demanding updates <3) I wanted to skype with you today, but I was in the kitchen over 12 hours today. Woohoo for graduation celebrations and another 8 hours (at least) in the kitchen tomorrow. But my god is the food yum! I'll send you recipes at some point to try out (especially the lemon tartlets i made because they are just exquisite). And yes – I PROMISE i'll get evernote once this graduation hassle is all over.

I miss you. I hope you have an amazing time in China and a safe journey over there. Also, whatsapp me if you have time. Mine was down all of today for some stupid reason, but now I have it up and working again.

    Hi Renee,
