First admission: I still haven’t really figured this whole blogging thing out yet. Apologies for the frequent theme changes, title alterations, color schemes.. It’s all a by-product of an annoying personality trait: perfectionism (which, in my case, is actually a euphemism for something much less impressive: indecisiveness). Second admission: I know what I want to write about (kind of), but need to find the right words. I’ll try to keep the blogs short and sweet, but I can’t promise anything!
With one day left until my move to Shanghai, the reality of a world without Facebook and flaky internet access is beginning to dawn on me. So, I recruited the help of my oldest (as in, befriended the longest, not grey-ing) friend Marike (who is quite the expert), and started this blog to be able to update all those who are curious and want keep in touch! Fingers crossed this site does work in China…
